Author's Note: A Minor Update to Chapter 7

Chapter 7 was written in a hurry because I knew I wouldn't have any time to write yesterday evening, so in order to keep up my chapter-a-day publishing rate I needed to finish it early. I also didn't have much of Chapter 7 written in advance, having burned through my buffer. Anyways, the upshot of all this is that I accidentally left out a fairly key detail from my outline. At the end of the original version, Rurik yanks Lilith around by the hair basically just to have something to break up his monologue. In the new version, he instead attaches the cursed pendant to her chest. If you read the original version, now you know.
